Biography: |
I have been a professional illustrator for more than two decades. My work has appeared in The New York Times, Rolling Stone, The New Yorker, Time and numerous other national publications. I have created national advertisements for Converse and Rockport Shoes and have been commissioned by MTV Networks to produce original paintings for The Crossroads Concert Series. My work has been selected to be included in the Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, Print, American Illustration and The Art Director’s Club Annual competitions. I’ve also lectured at my Alma Mater, Pratt Institute and was a mentor in The Graduate Mentorship Program at SVA. My work is usually conceptual social commentary. I paint on found surfaces and attempt to achieve an effect that brings vintage American ephemera to mind. |
