Biography: |
Born in the foothills of North Carolina, Patrick Leger attended East Carolina University where he received a degree in painting and a year later enrolled in the masters program at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After college in 2007, Patrick began exploring a career in illustration and got his start doing work for the Op-Ed section of The New York Times. Greatly influenced by the work of artists of the 1960s and a love of everything from that period, Patrick’s work combines both traditional aesthetics with modern sensibilities. His work has been recognized by American Illustration, Communication Arts, and The Society of Illustrators. Past clients include The New York Times, ESPN, The Atlantic Monthly, The New Yorker, Newsweek, Entertainment Weekly, Fast Company, Billboard Magazine, FHM, Popular Mechanics, Wired, Business Week, Diesel Clothing, BBC, Esquire, New York Magazine, The Folio Society, and Random House. |
