Thumbtack Press terms & conditions for artists

Thumbtack Press, Inc. (“Thumbtack”) retains the rights to the image for the purpose of display and sale of reproductions (“prints”) on the Thumbtack website, and any Thumbtack promotional materials. The submitting artist (“artist”) shall keep ownership of the original “parent” work.

The image must be the artist’s own original work. The artist must retain exclusive ownership rights to the original work for the duration of its display on Thumbtack. It is the sole responsibility of the artist to inform Thumbtack of any potential change in ownership to the original work before a copyright transfer takes place. The image may not contain the trademarks, logos, copyrighted works or intellectual property of any third parties, or any material, which Thumbtack in its sole discretion deems to be profane or offensive. The artist shall hold harmless Thumbtack from any third-party dispute to the image including, but not limited to, copyright infringement, unauthorized use of likeness, defamation, or trademark violations.

The image may be modified at Thumbtack's discretion to prepare it for reproduction and sale. Changes may include size revisions, color adjustments, and cropping.

Artists who, in the opinion of Thumbtack, do not comply with these guidelines can at any time be excluded from participation without notification of reason.

The above conditions are final and binding.
