Now that Thumbtack Press has a studio space, we done put up a sign!
Shane was a big help! But it was Grandpa — the photographer here, and the most recent employee of Thumbtack Press after retiring from his job of thirty-four years!!! — who got this sign into place. Thanks and congratulations Dad!

A cool (new?) site called CommandShift3 (clever) puts homepages head-to-head and you vote on the best design.
As of this posting Thumbtack Press has battled 501 times and won 67% of the time, which puts us in the top ten Best designed print sites, I’m honored - okay, I voted for myself once.

Grab that magnifying glass ring above to view the detail - then go buy the print! Only fifty of these amazing editions are available, each signed and numbered by Colin. My 4-year old son said it best “Hey! I’ve never seen so many pictures before!”

By the way, The U.K. Telegraph’s Sunday magazine, Seven, featured Thumbtack Press and artists Jared Drew Moody, Jeremiah Ketner (pictured above), and Mutt Ink. Since it’s an insert magazine you can’t buy it alone, so if any of you Brits would kindly send me a copy (or two) I’d thank you with a print of [...]

October 5th! Bob Dob’s first solo show at La Luz de Jesus in L.A. This should be a historic event, so be there!
I told you people to buy his work 2 years ago, but did you listen to my good advice? No … no, you didn’t.

I’m so pleased — but not at all surprised — that Shino Arihara is the subject of a Communication Arts article this month. Please go and pick up a copy from any newsstand.
She’s really an awesome person, not just a great artist, which makes this recognition all the more deserved. Congrats Shino!

Yesterday, Joey Allcorn, classic-Country music recording artist, speaks to the Small Business Committee in the House about the importance of Internet Radio; “I guess you could call Internet Radio the greatest grassroots music movement ever.”
I think Mr. Allcorn is able to sum it all up pretty well. 5:47 mins.

I’m honored to announce that Brad Yeo has joined Thumbtack Press with images like this one. Brad is a brilliant talent, as you can plainly see, and he’s also a very prolific artist as well. I’ve been a fan for a long time - expect more from Brad soon!

December was extraordinary. Not necessarily ‘good’ extraordinary, but extraordinary in the sense that it kicked my ass. My Son caught salmonella which, take my word for it, sucks hard. He’s OK now, in fact just a touch of this Satan-spawned bacteria is enough to give Daddy a full head of grey hairs. A representitive from [...]
