You’ll be happy to know 7 new prints from Colin Johnson were posted this weekend. I love Colin’s images because they “print well”, and that’s hard to explain unless you’re a printer, if you are, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.
Colin belongs to the first-10-artists-club on Thumbtack. In 2005 I did an [...]

In it’s August issue, ReadyMade Magazine dedicated a spread to affordable art and prominently showed-off two amazing artists on Thumbtack; Jared Drew Moody and Chris Silas Neal.
Pick up a copy and support a really great mag. Or better yet, buy one of these great prints and support two really great artists!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve introduced a new artist on Thumbtack Press. It’s worth the wait once you view Vanessa Tam’s work. I hope she’ll be submitting some more work soon.
I love it… How ’bout you?

I’m honored to announce that Brad Yeo has joined Thumbtack Press with images like this one. Brad is a brilliant talent, as you can plainly see, and he’s also a very prolific artist as well. I’ve been a fan for a long time - expect more from Brad soon!

Please welcome A. Richard Allen to Thumbtack Press. He has a wonderfully whimsical retro vibe going, but the themes deal mainly with modern day scenarios. The above image, Pigeon, is my personal favorite (in case you’re keeping score!)

Nick Deakin has also gifted us with a bunch of new prints. If you have been watching his store closely you will have noticed his style is changing faster than I can change out his tackboard! Nick doesn’t “try” out a new style with one painting - oh no no no - he goes for [...]

And saving the best for last, Bob Dob offers up this red-blooded American set of prints of Crusher, Cannon, and the Human Flytrap, or just buy the whole set for under a 100 bucks (which, is about three drinks at Starbucks).
You cannot really grasp the amount of care and attention that Bob put into this [...]

These two new images by uber (and still way too young to be this talented) artist Ken Wong are stunners, and even though Rapunzel and Red and the Wolf are like themes I have decided not to make them a set . . . but you can, buy them both — poof — you have [...]

Paul Blow also joins Thumbtack Press with four very impressive prints. I love his style because the printed product is so amazingly sharp and pristine. He is a terrific illustrator with some pretty complex narratives. If I were a betting man I would guess he’s a big fan of Japanese prints of the 1800s like [...]

And the hits just keep on coming with the addition of Matt Mills to Thumbtack Press. I asked Matt to come aboard for two reasons, 1) We never had pure cityscape images which is a favorite subject of mine and 2) The above image. I love Kansas City and spent a week there with my [...]

I’m happy to show off Brandon Reese’s new print, Nut Craze. Frankly, everything Brandon does puts a smile on my face, ‘cept this one makes me sad. OK, I’m better now.
If I had a kid I’d decorate his room with Brandon’s stuff . . . wait, I do . . . and I did!

How do I even begin to preface Kristian Olson and his amazing style. His work proves, once again, that illustration is an ever-changing and evolving trade. His images are simply awesome. He works with old school detail - like a the back of a Hoyle playing card, or printed currency - but with the marriage [...]
