Nice Fucking Graphics! Giveaway Winner + Christopher Umana

Congrats to Andrea Samperio for winning our Nice Fucking Graphics! giveaway this weekend. The giveaway was a huge success in the sense that in collaborating with NFG our fans who might not have known about them got to know them and their fans got to know us. We really admire their site and it was an honor to work with them. It’s exactly these kinds of collaborations that make the lowbrow/whateveryouwannacallit space fun and communal.
Oh and dig the piece Andrea chose (above). It’s one of Christopher Umana‘s distinctive animal pieces, pieces in which, as he says, he paints animals to express the human condition. Something about the bird’s human countenance and posture, with those black stalactites towards the top corners – love it.
