Thumbtack Press Olympics, Part I

Shake Hands by Kimiaki Yaegashi

Kimiaki Yaegashi, Shake Hands

One of the office robots is obsessed with the Olympics (especially Judo and Taekwando, don’t ask) and suggested we put up some of the pieces that are relevant to the upcoming event in London. So without further ado let us present, in honor of Skeegee the office robot, the first in a series of “Thumbtack Press Olympics.”

Today’s two pieces are about the fundamental tenets of the Olympics, TTP-style. In Kimiaki Yaegashi’s piece Shake Hands you can clearly see the Olympic spirit of bringing the world together. And below, Scott Balmer’s Mass In Motion, a piece whose skateboarder holding up some kind of heavy orb is surely a testament to the Olympic competitions that always seem slightly irrelevant (LOOKING AT YOU TRAMPOLINE).
