One year ago this week, we were putting final touches on the new website that you all know now as the current Thumbtack Press. As we tested and retested the site, we wondered, would the parchment background be too much? Would people prefer an all white site instead? Are there enough thumbtacks everywhere? Where’s that one really nice pen in the office? And if The Force is so strong, why couldn’t the Jedi masters just sit in a room and use the Force to destroy the Death Star remotely????
But in the end July 1, 2011 came without any notable drama, the site was and is a success, and here we are a year later talking about it like it was no big deal ho hum etc.
