UGLYDOLL, Ramen

The idea was simple. UGLYDOLL has captured the imaginations of millions of people all over the world. Their love story and cast of Uglys piques the interest of anyone who lays eyes on one. Here at Thumbtack Press, we have a number of character artists on the site, and many of the TTP artists share with UGLYDOLL the ability to bring their characters to life in plush or vinyl. (For example: Does this Bob Dob Luey toy look familiar? And dig these MEGA Munnies.)

UGLYDOLL, Minimum Wage

So the collaboration between UGLYDOLL and TTP sort of went the other way around. Instead of bringing a work of art to life as a toy, we’ve captured the plush and vinyl Uglys in photos. We caught them in compromising and uncompromising positions, at the supermarket, outside, walking around, etc., and the collection adds another dimension to the beloved characters of Wage, Ox, Babo, Icebat, and others. It’s an ugly match made in ugly heaven: The pioneers of open edition lowbrow, illustrator, and character art prints and the fastest growing plush and toy brand in the world.
