Ah yes. The old screw to the head.
Anthony Freda sent us this gif he animated a few weeks ago, when we posted some of his newest works, including Screwed. The gif version only amplifies the political side of the piece, and it’s, erm, rather unfavorable opinion of Uncle Sam. Don’t you see? He’s bringing his piece to life!
I wrote this about the piece back in March:
Anthony writes thoughtful notes to accompany his pieces in the TTP store. For Screwed (above), he writes: “This piece expresses the sentiment some feel towards a federal government that uses trillions of dollars of tax money to finance wars and bailout bankers while enacting legislation that curtails the civil rights of average Americans.” So hence the, you know, screwing.
