We took a quickie vacation and spent two days at Disneyland. I hate (h-a-t-e) crowds so day one was a bit dicey for me - luckily hotel guests gain entrance one hour before the park opens to the public so we were able to hit all of the rides in Fantasyland thrice before the onslaught of people and the August heat arrived. Also, we were guest “numero uno” on Autopia and they let us drive the course twice without having to queue again. The next day was devoted to California Adventure which, to my delight, was pretty sparse and unpopular and we never waited more than 5 minutes for a ride. Overall, my family had a blast and we made some great memories.

Don’t miss: Bugs Life 3D show (fun surprises), Paradise Pier Ferris Wheel, Redwood Creek (I wanna be a kid again!). Pass: Pirates of the Carribean (retooled as a movie promotion, lame).
