I read this article, which inspired me to make my own list:

1. You’ll have free time to play golf during the day, go clubbing all night, and boat on weekends
2. When you first launch an online store the orders just come pouring in
3. Name your own salary
4. You can take a day off whenever you want and often take spontaneous week-long holidays, (plus you’ll have more time with the kids)
5. Enjoy part-time hours *spits out lukewarm coffee
6. The business plan you’ll write will be perfect and you’ll never divert from it
7. You start enjoying a profit within a few months
8. The overhead projections you estimated will be accurate and you will not spend thousands more than you expected
9. Supplies are inexpensive, in stock, and you’ll always remember to replenish quantities in a timely manner
10. You have the God-given ability to know what the public will and will not buy
