My nephew made me smile

I have a nephew who is almost 7. He’s inquisitive and really smart for his age. Yesterday was Sunday, it was 106 degrees outside, and I was working very hard to finish orders. I was a little stressed. He came into my studio and asked me what I was doing, I told him I was was working. Then he said, “Who’s your boss?”—I didn’t expect the question and I stopped working for a second, “I don’t have a boss . . . I’m the boss, I guess.”

“Wow.” he said, and went off to play. After our short conversation I found the work much lighter.

Well, hell yes, you’re the boss! You should write it on the wall for you to read whenever you feel a low sneaking around the corner. It helps, boss.

That’s hilarious! My kids do stuff like that all the time. Inspiring…..

I hope to never become bitter when I’m old and shun away interesting remarks made by children.
