I’m a real admirer for technical expertise, in any discipline. For example, I once was parked on the street with a perfect view of brick layers building a huge wall and I got a kick from the effortless way they prepped the trowel with the perfect amount of mortor, slapped it down, tapped the brick into place, and scooped away the excess mortor like perfect timed machines. Craftsmanship comes from reverence of your trade, yes, but more than that it comes from years and years of practice and dedication - which is the highest order of reverence for what you do.

Robert Carter is a technical expert in his field, and it shows in all of his work. I am so proud to have his work available for purchase on Thumbtack Press. I know you’ll be an admirer too.

Sidenote: I’m officially taking one more artist for Thumbtack Press and then I’m closing the submissions for a while, 50 artists will be plenty and I don’t want Thumbtack Press to become too overwhelming (both to me and buyers).
