This was the worst flu I’ve ever experienced . . . Ev-ar . . . It hurt to blink. I now truly understand the proverb “If you don’t have your health, you don’t have anything.” And on top of all that, I made a driving trip to LA to tie up loose ends - shocked I’m not dead. Sure am looking forward to the next eight days of the scratchy-and-painful-dry-cough-but-at-least-the-aches-are gone phase of this illness.

And now - a plug. My wife took a product called Airborne every three hours to combat getting what her whole family got, and hallelujah, she has not been smitten. From now on I will take it if I hear someone sneeze over the phone.
