Ripped off
Well, it was bound to happen, Thumbtack Press got robbed. They didn’t use a gun or a knife, or break into our store wearing a stocking on their head. They used the internet.
After some reflection it really doesn’t surprise me, I’m generally a trusting person (read: naive) and I guess they smelled that. I should have trusted my instincts, I will next time, believe me. You didn’t run off with much, less than $100 and some free prints—prints I now have to pay the artist for out of pocket. I hope that eats at you when you admire the stolen goods hanging in the rock you live under. But I doubt you care.

ahh! those bastards! i hate that being trusting seems to be perceived as a character flaw these days.

Tony,
Can you please be more specific about this event? What did they take and how did they take it?
Thanks.

You’ll forgive me for not explaining in detail - It was actually so simple in design I’d rather not provide a “How-To” to more bastards. Actually, just venting out loud has made me feel much better. Thanks, I’m okay now.
