A New York publisher has just obtained my Edgar Allan Poe piece above for an 11th grade English book, Elements of Literature which is to be published in 2007. I never got to see images like these in my 11th grade english book. I did this as a personal piece over four years ago and what makes this even cooler is the publisher was looking for illustrators on Thumbtack Press! I’m hoping our artists gain more exposure by being on the site - I’d love to hear any similar stories.
