I have a quote by Thomas Edison that I have tacked to the board in front of my computer. I’ve had it there for over two years. When I began this crazy idea over three months ago I cleared the other post-its, baby photos and invoices that obstructed it so I could always have a clear view of its message. It has literally exterminated the rodents of doubt from my studio more than once. So I’d like to share openly and honestly, as I hope to do often, the trials of beginning a new business with a half a shoestring budget and a lot of prayer.
