| Cultural Inspiration: |
The hand painted signs in my LA neighbohood which borders Koreatown, Thai Town and Little Armenia remind me that the ordinary is sometimes extraordinary and nothing is what it seems. My Hungarian grandparents' (who owned an embroidery business in Los Angeles) home, filled with folk embroidery, art books, and delicious pastries, introduced me to a wonderful tactile world of color and taste. |
