Both comfortable under a computer and with brushes and pens in his hand, he has succeded in imposing his crazy universe, populated by strange, colorful creatures and geometric, mysterious shapes. He has worked for prestigious international clients and made exhibitions all over the world. His work can also be found in several international magazines and books about graphics and art.
As Niark1 explains, "My inspirations come from the global street art movement (I make some paste up in the streets with my art sometimes), the California low-brow scene, with artists like Jeff Soto, and Tim Biskup, etc., others artists like Junko Mizuno, Charles Burns, Murakami, etc., and reference artists like Basquiat, Picasso, Bacon, and Klimt. I am also inspired by animation movies (Miyazaki animations), music, toys, and monsters movies. "I'm a proud father of a little boy, I like to visit museums and galleries and discover new artists, and I'm a big fan of music (except commercial sh*t). I'm living in the suburbs of Paris because this city has become too expensive, and my main dream at the moment is to buy a big house with a garden for my family :-). Otherwise my dreams are most often a bit weird, (but anyway I like everything that is weird)." |
