Biography:

As a graphic designer, I illustrate; as an illustrator I try to generate graphic systems of form and color that are inextricably linked to design. There is a thin line that delimits the terrain of these two disciplines that I work in and at times that line is blurred.

The communication of an idea and the search for functional forms with which to transmit it has been present since my earliest days as a designer. However, in the last few years, the language of illustration has gained ground in me, it has grown and articulated previously known structures with new artifices. So I’ve returned to design, illustrating.

I was Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1973, where I continue to live now.
I am both illustrator and graphic designer and frequently I combine these two creative aspects in my work. I enjoy illustrating everything: books, toys, notebooks, stickers, puzzles, posters, magazines, movies, CD covers, calendars, advertising, or vinyls.
My books have been published in Argentina, France, México and Spain.

Cultural
Inspiration:

I draw everywhere, all the time, on a napkin in a bar or as I am phoning.
The inspiration comes both through work and by accident. I’m not the best drawer, sometimes some forms appear in these sketches that I don’t consider mine and these spark off the ideas.

Artistic
Inspiration:

I find myself inspired by capacity for production, ingenious use of resources, refinement and transformation without loss of identity. All artists in whom these qualities are to be found inspire me in one way or another, be they illustrators, painters, musicians, film directors or anyone else who exerts their profession with respect and pushes their skills to the limit.
