Symbolic Nature, Plastic Fashion, Perfect Dolls Beauty: a perpetual search for beauty even at the expense of naturalness Since I was young my passions have consisted of painting and drawing women. I am obsessed with them and in these last years I developed the idea of a world in which I divided people/animals in two groups: the Hungry and the Indolent. This idea became a project: "This is a Hungry Place". I'm studying how to print my works, how to make them material, how to transform them into a product. I mean hunger as in craving food, meat, sex, blood, beauty, luxury, power, hunger for anything mouth-watering. I mean that there are people (The Hungry) who desire, dream, run and people (The Indolent) who stand still, don't go anywhere. I prefer The Hungry. I am alive. The Hungry Place is alive. |
